5 reasons why you should practice PARKOUR!!

Parkour, what’s that???? Well it is a form of sports, invented by David Belle, making use of your locomotives in the most efficient ways… Jump, crawl, roll, flip, and get dirty. If you are up for it, go for it, then go explore it. Parkour Mumbai has been home for many Parkour enthusiasts to come together and explore extreme sports in their own way. a few years back it was home for me and I still cherish all the good old memories.

Here’s why it’s fun:-

1.  It gets the core muscular built stronger because of the hard-core training involved along with super fun. Sweat! Sweat!

2. . You will never be late again! Perks of swift and fast body movements; helps you traverse in the most feasible manner!! If popped with a question in the interview to sell yourself, just say, I’m faster than GOKU!!! (Goku is a cartoon character who possess powers of a super SAIYAN) and hell yeah…Climbing a wall is just a piece of cake for you!



     3. Start a group and go for parkour Jams!! You get to know people from various cultures and stratus and get to know their fitness regime and you can exchange lots of ideas to blend into this sport!

       4 Not many people know about Parkour in India and you have a chance to make it big. Spread the sport!! Become a trainer!! Take it up as a career, you never know what’s in store for you!

      5  If you don’t get to use prefixes like Dr, LLB, or whatever don’t feel sad… You will be called as a Traceur or a Traceuse in the community. #Respect!! #swag #in #itself

5 Reasons why you should practice Tai Chi:


TAI CHI is a traditional Chinese art. It is “YOGA IN MOTION”. It is a “MOVING FORM OF MEDITATION”.

An art which gently exercises the body and the mind. A powerful key to relaxation, stress reduction, concentration & weight loss.

In TAI CHI, movements are performed SOFTLYSLOWLY and SMOOTHLY.
TAI-CHI aims at the attainment of grace and balance. The promotion of physical & emotional health and the development of internal force or energy flow. Another aim of TAI-CHI is to foster a calm and a tranquil mind.

Here are the benefits you need to know about TAI CHI


1.      1. Physical Health
So it keeps you healthy physically and improves strength, flexibility and posture. One thing which is very important to keep up the pace of the wanderlust inside you and to achieve your travel goals.

Physically you may be a Rocky Balboa but woaah what if you are not mentally and emotional Strong?. Everything needs to be in a sync to live a completely healthy life.  You can’t be physically fit and mentally juggling with stress. Your awareness in the moment increases and so does your actions. Tai Chi has always been seen something to do with the wellness and wellbeing. But wait! It helps in defending yourself in any situation. You can be your own “SAMURAI” OR maybe just be the night vigilante- the protector of the world.

You can be a kid in the growing age or be a teenager or be a working professional or a retired or whatever! For TAI CHI age doesn’t matter. It opens its warm heart towards everyone.

Sonika is the perfect master to learn TAI CHI FROM IN INDIA. She has been practicing and teaching martial arts like KARATE and TAICHI for over 28yrs now.

She has been selected thrice to represent India in the World cup. She brought laurels to INDIA, when she won Bronze medal in the year 2005, Greece, KOI World Cup and Silver Medal in 2007, Bulgaria at KOI World Cup.
 She is the only woman in South India and second in India to have cleared her exam for being a karate judge at Asian and world level in Spain in 2013.
